Our Leadership
Brad D. Messner, MBA, EA
Brad is a seasoned professional in both the technology/cybersecurity domain and tax/accounting topics. He has spent over 25 years working with global security systems encrypting and locking down millions of records across dozens of countries. He is also the third-generation owner of Messner & Fox, LLC in Pennsylvania. He is currently a university professor dedicating his career to teaching security and data management to the future leaders of the business world as well as a nationally-recognized speaker. In July 2023, he was awarded Tax Professional of the Year by the National Association of Tax Professionals, out of a membership of over 24,000. He is also the recent recipient of a Department of Defense scholarship as he completed his PhD in Information Systems and Cybersecurity.
Brad holds multiple industry certifications or licensures in both the tax/accounting industry as well as the security industry.
His passion for security and love for the financial services industry drove him to launch Financial Guardians, LLC in 2023.
